For every month of our calender there is a birthstone that is linked to it. In ancient times, the Greeks and Romans associated gemstones with the planets and with the Gods. A natural progression then to link these beautiful gemstones with something as personally significant as the month of our birth.
It is believed that to possess your birthstone is to possess something
intimately associated with self. And so the gift of a birthstone is a
truly special and unique gift to a loved one or to our selves. From
garnets in January to topaz in December I will gradually, month by
month, build a collection of bespoke jewellery combining stone with
